About This Quote

I think you're a fairy tale. I think you're magical, and brave, and exquisite. And I hope you'll let me be in your story. If there is one thing I want people to know about me, it's that I'm not perfect.

I'm not perfect in the sense that I'm never going to make a mistake or do something wrong. I am, however, imperfect because sometimes I'll get angry or sad or frustrated and that means that I am human. Sometimes human emotions can get the best of us and we can say things we shouldn't because we're having an emotional reaction.

The word “fairy tale” is meant to convey the idea that these feelings and emotions can be magical and beautiful and wonderful and they can be what makes the world go round and so on. The idea behind this quote is that sometimes these feelings can bring us happiness and joy without having to do anything wrong.
